How to submit a request for International Arbitration?
1. How to submit a request to initiate International Arbitration under the CCB Rules?
The claimant must submit a memorial to the Center that meets the requirements of Article 3.5(3) of the International Commercial Arbitration Rules. The following must be attached to said memorial:
1. Proof of payment for the initial fees for international arbitration expenses.
2. Proof of sending the request for the initiation of international arbitration to the respondent´s address - or their last known address.
2. How to submit a notice to initiate International Arbitration under the UNCITRAL Rules?
The claimant must send a notice to initiate international arbitration that complies with the requirements outlined in Article 3 of the UNCITRAL Rules (2010 or 2013 versions). The following must be attached to said notice:
- Proof of payment of 50% of the estimated administration fees for international arbitration.
- Proof of the notification of the notice to initiate international arbitration to the respondent´s address - or their last known address.
The writs of request of initiation and notifications of initiation of International Arbitration will be received in the mailbox radicaciondocumentosCAC@ccb.org.co.
